INSANE GUITAR SOLO

Can you believe how amazing this guy is at guitar?! His name is Paul Gilbert. I knew him before this video because I like his song Scarified! I just never knew he was THIS good at guitar! I wonder how long it took him to be able to play like that! I want to be able to play like that! Practice makes perfect though - and I don't like practice! I just want to be able to pick up on something the first time I try and if I can't I leave it! LOL But recently I started playing guitar again and I'm going to try and be just like him one day! Maybe after I've been playing for 70 years! Paul Gilbert might just be my new idol!

Epic Mickey Released

As you probably know - or don't know - the new video game Epic Mickey has been released! There is a unique twist to this Mickey Mouse game - Mickey Mouse is a bad guy!

In this video game they went to turn our beloved Mickey Mouse into a snarling rat and have the player make mischievious choices! They even have the player stealing treasures from a store! Uh, call me old-fashioned but I don't think this is smart for little kids who are going to be playing this game! They're going to think that it's all right to steal. I mean, if Mickey Mouse is doing it then it must be all right, right? Well it's not, kids! Don't! Don't copy Epic Mickey! He's bad! Run away, run away!

Another Batman?!?

Ugh!!!!!!!!!!!! Another Batman?! No thank you! I didn't like that first movie (Batman Begins) at all! I also didn't like the second movie (The Dark Knight)! For one thing the were both way too long! Besides they can't have the Joker anymore, at least not a good Joker, now that Heath Ledger's gone! They don't have a lot of info yet, but the two villains that are probably going to be in it are going to be the Riddler, played by Johnny Depp, and Catwoman, played by Angelina Jolie. All I know is my brother can go to that himself because I know my mom's with me on Batman! We both don't like it!

School's Almost Back!

School's almost back! Ahhhhh! Every kid's nightmare! At least I know it's mine! Now instead of waking up at 6 P.M. I have to wake up at 6 A.M! Plus no more video games!! Nooooooooo!!!

School is so slow and boring I barely survive! I have to sit through blah, blah, blah all day. If it's educational I think I block it out!

Well, I'm kind of sad school is back in because I have to do work ):
I'm happy at the same time though because I get to see friends again :)
I'm going to miss Winter Break. Well... onto Spring! :P

My 201st Blog Post!

MY 201st BLOG POST?!? Wha?!?! Time actually DOES fly by! I thought that was just a saying!

When I started this blog I wasn't exactly thrilled about it and I'M STILL NOT. Also, as you can probably tell I'm about 80 days behind, and you're probably thinking - hey that's not daily! But hey, I try, I try.

I like doing this blog better than the one I had to do over the summer because on that one I had to watch a ONE HOUR SHOW AND THEN WRITE ABOUT IT! With this blog I can just ramble along and write silliness and get away with it... but my other blog, my summer blog, was actual work!

Ahh, I'm actually feeling kind of pleased with myself with the amount of blog posts I've done. The dissapointing part is I only have 2 followers... me and my mom! Then again, tomorow is another day... and I'll be on to post 202. And maybe gain a few followers!

Cheetah Spotted in Niger!

This ghostly looking Saharan cheetah looked like me a couple years ago, too skinny yet fast! This picture was taken in the country of Niger and the amazing part is that the chances of seeing and getting a picture of a Saharan cheetah are extremely high! Just like me again, either I don't feel like taking a picture or when I was in it you couldn't see me because I was too skinny and/or fast!

The amazing part of this is scientists say they barely see any Saharan cheetahs or get pictures because cheetahs are too fast, so they don't even have an estimate of how many are left in the world! It all comes down to this - are these cheetahs endangered?!?

Christmas Day

My Christmas Day was perfect! Go ahead tell me how yours was and what happened in the comments, I'm curious as to how other people celebrate their Christmas Day! Anyway, I got exactly what I wanted for Christmas! First thing I did was wake up super early because I was eager for presents! But nobody wanted to wake up so I forced to wait. -___-" The next thing I did was open presents! And I got the two things I wanted! The first thing was a longboard, along with shirts and candy from my stocking! Then my dad came by later and gave me the second only thing I wanted! The new 32 gig iPod with a camera! I'm a very grateful boy and couldn't have wished for anything else! *Cough long board gloves :P*

Rudolph Blood Vessel

Dude! I want this blood vessel in my brain! Some researchers at a university were studying the inner blood vessels of the brain and when they looked at the blood vessels of one of the volunteers, they were stunned by the find, as was I!!! This man's blood vessel looks like a reindeer with antlers flying through a starry sky! I can even see its eye and tail! In fact, it looks like Rudolph to me! There is even a red blob for a nose! And to think this happened right before Christmas! Maybe he's Santa...

Spider-Man Broadway Show Postponed

At the musical broadway show called Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark in New York City, there was a stage accident! They were about to perform in less then a week when the accident happened, postponing the show until February 7th! So as I was saying there was a preview performance on Monday. The preview performance resulted in a mess when a stunt went bad. A Spider-Man actor ended up in a free fall, where he landed in the orchestra pit in front of a stunned and confused audience! I would have clapped for the special effects if I was there! But then they turned on the houselights to announce the fact that wasn't supposed to happen! O.O

After the fall, the actor was rushed to Bellevue Hospital! He remained there overnight. I guess his spider sense didn't tell him the ropes were gonna snap...

US population at 308.7 million!

OH MAH GAWD!! THE US HAS REACHED 308.7 MILLION PEOPLE! I didn't know we were THAT big! I'm proud that so many people live in America, and proud too of all the rights we have. That's one of the many reasons people live here. Also because the place is nice and upkept BECAUSE OF OUR TAXES! WHICH ARE EXTREMELY HIGH! But also because of all the rights we have!

Anyway, I'm glad my family and I live in America! I feel so awesome to be part of that 0.000000001% that made that number on the census! :)

Lunar Eclipse

So apparently, last night many around the world were able to witness a rare total lunar eclipse!!! Many were watching as the Earth passed directly between the sun and the full moon. While it did this, it covered the moon in shadow making the whole thing completely red! The event was really special because it also happened on the same day as the Winter Solstice - something that hasn't occurred in 372 years, and won't come around again until 2094. Man, I can't believe I missed it!!! The stupid thing came out at 2 A:M when I was sleeping! My friends Facebook status was: " saw the Lunar Eclipse and two shooting stars!!" That made me so jealous! Hopefully I'm still alive in 2094!

Christmas Gifts

Good God, getting Christmas gifts for people is hard! If you know they like something, you want to buy it for them, but then again you don't know if they have it already!

Also, another thing is people might be offended by the age limit on the item, for example, yesterday I was buying a present for Allison, my next door neighbor. She's 10 but she looks like she is 6! So I was going to buy her a board game for Christmas and the game looked really cool! The only problem was the age limit started at age 5 and we thought she might be offended so my mom made me put it back! x.x

Christmas is a great holiday. My favorite part is not giving - like most, but recieving ;) - not to mention one of my gifts came in the mail today! (it's a longboard! - sshhh!)

Happy Holidays! :)

Christmas Decorations Overload!

Whoa! These people are like my neighbors! They over-decorate their whole house, the only difference is this house looks nice! There are a whole bunch of other houses like this as well!

Now I love the joy and the spirit of the holidays, but everyone needs to remember that electricity isn't free! I don't think it should be wasted either. I mean think about what just happened in Chile. Miners risk their lives every day so you have heat and lights to simply live! Two other things come to mind as well: how can they pull that much electricity without causing a blackout in the area, and how high is the electric bill for the month for some of these people!?

Now these decorations are amazing, I just think you don't need that many! If you decorate your house simply, people will still know you like and celebrate Christmas! Happy Holidays anyway!

Blogs On Winter Break

I don't think that it is fair that I have to do blogs on WINTER BREAK. I think that's so messed up! The whole point of Winter Break would be to have a BREAK. BREAK!!! NO WORK, NO NOTHIN JUST RELAXIN' - which is video games and hanging out with my friends on my part. So here I am stuck, doing a blog while my brother goes around playing video games and gallivanting around town! Here I am not playing video games stuck at home doing blogs. How I am starting to love Winter Break already!

Winter Break

WINTER BREAK! FINALLY! FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WINTER BREAK IS FINALLY HERE! This week has been the longest week I have ever experienced, it felt like a year when it was only 5 days! I was so eager for Winter Break to come! The main reason I wanted it to come so bad is because my brother is here. Okay, I'm not going to lie... the biggest reason I wanted it to come would have to be the fact that I haven't played video games in a month! But you see, now that's going to be over! To be honest, I was supposed to be grounded for today and Saturday, but by being a good boy I got myself ungrounded (:

I got myself ungrounded for today by bringing a B up to an A in one of my classes, and I got ungrounded for tomorrow by getting a 100% on my vocabulary test today! I'M SO EXCITED! WINTER BREAK! WINTER BREAK! WINTER BREAK! WINTER BREAK! WINTER BREAK! WINTER BREAK! WINTER BREAK! YAY!

Dog Anniversary

SO AS ALL OF YOU KNOW (because this blog is so popular and everything, I mean it has 3 followers! All which are me and my mom) MY ANNIVERSARY WITH MY DOG WAS TWO DAYS AGO. Sorry I haven't been writing blogs... school work is distracting! Even if you don't have any schoolwork to do! Like me :D

Anyway, me and my dog didn't really do anything special for our 2 year anniversary. I gave him some soup, he gave me some love. That's pretty much how it went down. We made out for at least 2 hours. Or more. I fed him, walked him, kissed him. It was the best anniversary ever! I have a feeling he enjoyed it too... whenever I open soup now he comes running!

Early Winter Break = Video Games

For the past few days I've realized what it truly means when your brother gets off of winter break before you. IT MEANS HE CAN PLAY VIDEO GAMES AND YOU CAN'T AND HE CAN RUB IT IN YOUR FACE. My brother got off school a week before me for winter break and I can't play video games on weekdays, so all he does while I can't play is play!!! RIGHT IN MY FACE! AND ALL I CAN DO IS WATCH HIM AND BE SAD ):

Why does stupid college have to let off before high school!? I'll be forced to watch him forever at this rate! It's only Tuesday! It feels like days everytime I'm forced to watch him! But if you look at it the easy way, it's only 2 more days until I can play video games! W0o0o0o0!! That's the whole meaning of Winter Break! Video Games!

Beijing Egg House

What the...?! This man really didn't like rent or something! A man named Dai Haifei is a 24-year-old architect in Beijing. He pulled an Einsten and used his brain power to find a solution to living rent-free! He built himself a mobile egg-shaped house that is powered by the sun!!! His "house" is 6 feet high and small enough to fit on the sidewalk! It's made of bamboo strips, wood chippings, sack bags, and grass seeds! That's just amazing!

This "house" has a solar panel on the roof that powers a lamp in the cramped yet supposedly cozy space. The house cost around $1,000 to build, which isn't that bad because he won't have to pay any bills like water or electric!

I don't know if I could manage living in that tiny space though, especially on the sidewalk with people walking by and the cars driving on the street! This man has taken living in tiny spaces to a whole new level! O__O

Unusual Gift...

Okay, why would anyone want to buy this for their dog?!
So I'm browsing on the internet trying to find something to write about on my blog and all of a sudden my eye cathces a side ad... it's says dog mustache - the perfect Chhristmas present for your dog! My eyes went wide! You would think dogs would want something edible, or something to play with... but a mustache? I mean, I'm sure the dog will figure out a good use for it... maybe learn how to stand on its hind legs, steal its masters wallet, put on an Inspector Gadget jacket and go in the store with a mustache on and get itself a "little treat." If you know what I mean!

Odd News!

WHAT!?! Okay, the three videos in this clip had me with my mouth wide open the whole time!

The first clip astonished me! The fact that a car went THROUGH the front door of a barber shop, and when the hair cutter looked around and saw that nobody was hurt, he went back to cutting hair! That's a devoted worker right there!

The second clip was just plain retarded! Scientists dressing up as pandas and taking other pandas out to the wild? Ehh, at least pandas are being saved! They're so fat! And squishy! Yet cute at the same time! Just like my dog...

The third clip, I just laughed at! I found it hilarious that everyone was looking foward to this giant Rudolph blow up and then as they're walking it down the street it pops! Hahahaha, I laughed for a good long time on that one! When it popped you can hear everyone go, "Nooooooooo!" That had me crackin' up!

What odd news... then again the title of the clip and the title of this blog explains it all!

Last Meal - Weird Request?

Prisoners on America's death row are allowed anything they would like to eat for their last meal before they are executed. I think this is a good thing! They're going to die, might as well be happy, right? Here is an unusual request I thought quite funny! Well, two unusual requests...

A man named Robert Buell asked for a single black olive! That one was funny but not very interesting... the next one is the weird one!

A man named Grasso was executed for using Christmas tree lights to strangle an 85-year-old woman! I know, harsh, right? 85 years old! If he wanted her to die, all he had to do was wait a little longer anyway! But his bizarre last meal request was for two dozen steamed mussels, two dozen steamed clams, a Burger King double cheeseburger, six barbecued spare ribs, two large milkshakes, a tin of Spaghettios with meatballs, half a pumpkin pie and strawberries and cream.

The funny part is, unfortunately for him, the length of his list seemed to confuse kitchen staff who made one little mistake. Grasso's last words were: "I did not get my Spaghettios, I got spaghetti. I want the press to know this.” Not to be a meaner or anything but I laughed when I read that quote and his bizzare request! Maybe they should have put that quote on his gravestone! lol

Obama Tongue Tied!

This made me smile! The fact that the president couldn't say a word! I understand though since he had 12 stiches on his lip...

President Obama couldn't say the word "superflous" but even if he didn't have the stiches that wouldn't be nearly as bad as George Bush, also known in my dictionary as "nu-cu-lear!" Either way, Obama and George Bush combined will never be as bad as my dad who can't say things like: Frodo, abombinable, roof, toilet, and so on! Some of them are ridiculously simple too, I mean words we use in every day life!

Don't worry Mister President! I wouldn't be embarrased if I were you! Just show them you can do it when your lip heals! I can't believe you're still playing basketball games too! You have the right to blame your lip. I would blame it fully, even if I couldn't say it when my lip was fully healed!

Grounded!

Yeah, that's right, I'm grounded! What for? Let me advise you kids out there so you don't make the same mistakes as me! In other words... just listen to your mother! Most kids aren't happy when they are grounded you see, but for some reason, I was! Maybe it's the fact that there is more to life then video games! I hung out with friends Friday, and just tried to get over the fact I wasn't allowed to play video games. Saturday, I went to a Parenting Fair that was a lot of fun at the Promenade, still kind of upset I couldn't play video games. And today... today I played ALL DAY outside! Somehow - I don't know how so don't ask me - it was more fun then playing video games!!! I'm sure when my mother reads this blog she'll be saying, "IT'S A MIRACLE! HE FOUND SOMETHING ELSE IN LIFE BESIDES VIDEO GAMES! SOMETHING HEALTHY AND FIT TOO!" So the moral of this story, kids, is not to get yourself grounded, but to find other interests in life, don't always focus on the thing you're addicted to, video games in my case! Oh miracles do happen, Mother! The only drawback is I am sore -___- Sore, but looking good (:

Hanukkah!

Hanukkah, or the Festival of Lights, starts on December 1st. It starts usually with fun things! Like blessings (the least fun), games (the most fun), and festive foods (the second most fun. I like food!). Hanukkah celebrates the triumphs of ancient Jewish heroes! Hanukkah is a minor holiday in the Jewish year, which I found amazing because I thought it was huge! In the United States, though, this I did know, its closeness to Christmas has brought greater attention to Hanukkah and its gift-giving tradition!! I'm so smart! Happy Hanukkah people!

World's Smallest Car!

Perry Watkins “Wind Up Mini Car" was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s smallest car with license to drive on public streets!!! This mini car is an amazing 41 inches high, 51 inches long and 26 inches wide!!! That's like the height of my mom!

According to several news sites, Perry Watkins used a coin-operated children’s ride to make his car. He repainted the body and put in the engine of an ATV bike. The rear tires and wheels come from a motorcyle and the front wheels were custom-made.

The amazing thing is that this "world’s smallest car" has seat belts and can drive 60 kph!!! SIXTY, PEOPLE!

This car is pretty neat, but it doesn't look very comfortable to ride in. Maybe he could donate it to the world's smallest person or something!

Choclate Christmas Tree

Note: Must watch this video!

Oh my! That's amazing! A Christmas Tree that's 10 meters tall! But its height isn't the amazing feat... the amazing thing is that it's made completely out of chocolate! That's right, chocolate! A single man named Patrick Roger created that beauty! And the great thing is that any money that the giant Choclate Christmas tree makes will be going straight to charity! Another amazing thing is that I finally found something that weighs more then my dog! That's right! This tree weighs 4 TONS. TONS PEOPLE! THAT'S 8,000 POUNDS!!!

I think that's a wonderful way to celebrate Christmas! Giving for nothing in return! I admire you Mister Roger! May you have a merry merry merry Christmas! And as much as I love chocolate, I don't know if I could eat that wonderful work of art. But I love it anyway!

President Gets 12 Stitches

Dang yo! I'm sure the Secret Service wasn't happy with the guy that elbowed the president in the mouth while playing basketball! Oh, you didn't know about that? What happened was President Barack Obama got elbowed in the face during a pickup basketball game. He needed 12 stiches to close the gash so I'm sure it was pretty big!

When he first got elbowed, the White House didn't name the person who caused the injury. I guess they didn't want people attacking him for punching the President in the face! lol! But then they later identified him as "Rey Decerega, director of programs for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute." Oh oh. If I was Rey, I'd be going into the Witness Protection Program right about now!

The president received the stitches right in the White House in the doctor's office on the ground floor. Man, they have everything in that place! A doctor's office, bowling alley, movie theatre, I wouldn't be suprised if they had a theme park! If I was president, I'd be adding a video game room. Yeah! Anyway, Rey Decerega better watch his back. I'm sure the president's bodyguards aren't too happy about what he did!

Macy's Thanksgiving Parade 2010

The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is often shortened to Macy's Day Parade. This parade is an annual parade presented by Macy's. The parade was started in 1927 and done every year after that. 1927, people. That's older than my dad... that's amazing! The three-hour event is held in New York City at 9:00 am every Thanksgiving morning!

What makes it so amazing to me is all the giant floating balloons! Like Kermit, Po from Kung Fu Panda, SpongeBob SquarePants, Scooby Doo and more! This year they even had the character from one of my favorite books, Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Awesome! One day I want to go... if only I had family in New York so that way I could stay at their house and mooch off their Thanksgiving food since every place will be closed!

Cold Tom Book Review

Cold Tom you say? Yeah, I read that book! Is it good? NO. IT WAS HORRIBLE. Now I usually like fantasy books with demons, vampires, werewolves and all the good gruesome stuff... but this book. THIS BOOK WAS HORRIBLE. I think it was supposed to be a scary book since in it, he goes to the demon world. This young boy named Tom is an outcast from his tribe. His tribe sees Tom as weak and plan to kill him. They're planning this because he almost let demons discover his tribe, and if they did that, the whole tribe would have been wiped out. When Tom finds out about their plans, he runs away to the city of the demons. I think this was supposed to be the scary part, where he saw demons around every corner of the city. I didn't like the book because the author, Sally Prue, tried to make it scary but she always failed horribly. The scariest part of the book was when there was a demon in the same house as Tom and he was a few feet away hiding in the fireplace and that was the most suspensful part for me. I don't think Sally Prue should write horror books if she doesn't know how to make them scary. I believe that this book could have been interesting, however if you like horror books that aren't scary you should go for this book! :]

Wow... wowowowow! Pt 2!

Alright, I'm seriously done with this Google Maps thing. I'M SEEING A LITTLE TOO MUCH! THINGS THAT I DON'T WANT TO SEE. I mean really, Germany... I know you guys like to be naked in public, as do I, but it's illegal! Okay, this might have been an emergency, but really! Do you think it's going to be a good idea to be walking around when you know your baby is due soon?!? I mean, here's this woman lying down in the street giving birth while the man kneeling beside her is holding a newborn baby! I mean, there's even a dude to the left and I can tell by the way he's standing his face looks like this... O_O

Okay seriously, I'm never going to Germany now. Naked men getting into trunks, women giving birth on the street... I mean just look at that picture! Uhhhhh....

Tuesday, November 23, 2010

Wow... wowowowow!

LOLOLOLOL, I think Google Maps has gone a LITTLE TOO MUCH IN DEPTH. More than I need to see, at least! On Google Maps there is a baffling picture that shows a NAKED man getting into the trunk of his car! At least this takes place in Germany, not anywhere close to me! Now I know for sure I'm never going to Germany! Not unless I want to see naked men getting into their trunks! I don't know if that's abusurd over there but here it's insane! Not to mention a dog lies nearby doing nothing probably thinking, "Oh, this is normal!" Come to think of it, I don't even want to know what he's doing anymore...

CHOOOOOOOOOCOLATE RAIN!

So I just realized how beast that song (Chocolate Rain) was, and guess what!? I'm gonna learn it on piano, suckers! It looks kind of hard, but I can do it! I mean, in the past month I've learned Fur Elise and Don't Stop Believing! How hard can this be compared to those...

I like a few things about this video. The piano beat is really catchy and I find it quite funny when he moves away from the mic to breathe (: Not to mention his deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep voice! CHOOOOOOOOOCOLATE RAIN! His voice adds to it because the chocolate is the rain and his voice is the thunder! :D

The Nissan Leaf

The Nissan Leaf is the newest amazing fully electric car! LEAF is also a perfect name because the car is aiming to help our world environmentally. LEAF also stands for Leading Environmentally friendly Affordable Family car! The Nissan Leaf will get 100 miles on a full charge! Not to mention it will only cost $561 a year in electricity!!! FIVE HUNDRED AND SIXTY-ONE DOLLARS, PEOPLE! I think it's a great invention and they'll sell faster then turkey on Thanksgiving!

More Than 345 Deaths?!?!

This is just devastating! Thousands of people stampeded at a festival in the Cambodian capital leaving 349 people dead. I can't imagine how awful it must be to be in the middle of a stampedeing crowd. I would panic! What would I do!? There would be no escape! Aarrgghh.

A panicking crowd was celebrating the end of the rainy season when they tried to flee across a bridge. Many people were crushed or fell over its sides into the water! Disoriented people struggled to find an escape through all the humanity. I feel sorry for all these people and their families too. This celebration turned into a tragedy.

Thanksgiving!

As you all know, Thanksgiving is this week! You know what I'm thankful for... I'm thankful for Thanksgiving because we have a whole 5 days off of school! If you've been living under a rock for the past 500 bizillion gajillion years, Thanksgiving is a day that is also known as Turkey Day. It is a festival celebrated mostly in the United States and in some of Canada. Thanksgiving was a holiday to express thankfulness, of course... but also gratitude, and appreciation, to family and friends and God if you're not athiest like me. Thanks to Thanksgiving for giving me an excuse to spend time with family and friends (and videogames!).

Harry Potter... continued?

Now we've all seen and watched Daniel Radcliffe grow up on the big screen as the young wizard Harry Potter. But now... after ten years and seven huge films, the 22-year-old (yes, 22! TWENTY TWO, PEOPLE!) actor is reaching the end of Harry Potter. Is it really over?

J. K. Rowling pretty much "promised" him that she wasn't going to write any more Harry Potter books. But I heard her say she hasn't ruled it out. Daniel said, "I think the two of us have to have a very interesting conversation at some point in the near future. If they did actually do another film I don't think I'd be on board. No. I think ten years is enough."

I agree with him! 10 years is a long time to be filming a series of movies. I agree with this quote of his: "One of the things that makes the biggest difference (with The Deathly Hallows) is that we're out of Hogwarts, which I think immediately lends the film a more kind of adult tone. When we've been in a school, you can't help but see us as school kids. Now, we're sort of just fugitives on the run. And there's so much action. But, actually, it does not compare to Part 2, which is coming next summer. The last film is just an all out action movie from start to finish."

Amazing Etch-a-Sketches

Part of me hopes this isn't real. I hope this because I remember struggling to draw on an Etch-a-Sketch and then I finally had to be satisfied with my crap drawing of a house... which consisted of straight lines since circular shapes are too difficult to draw! Even yesterday I was so proud of an Etch-a-Sketch drawing I did that was just squares that was one square inside the other until it got tinier and tinier until I couldn't do it anymore. I was so amazed I decided to show my mom! But she didn't think my work was god-like like I did. :( And then she showed me the picture above and I realized what she was talking about. This picture still amazes me. Watch, I'll do it one day! I'll practice so hard my eyes will look like Etch-a-Sketches! Hehe.

Black Friday Deal!

Good Lordy! This is an amazing deal for Black Friday! The picture as I like to say it... has been looking pretty magnificent for HD Televisions! Haha, lol, I slay me... Oh, right, so it's Black Friday and they have great deals on TVs! You can get a 22-inch LCD television for $180! $180, people! That's just amazing. I'd buy one for my bedroom if my mom wasn't so mean and absolutely refused to let me have a TV in my bedroom ever! Man, she's a meaner. I mean, I could be playing video games in my room! That's standard must-have equipment for every teenager. At least that's what I keep telling her but she's not listening.

Another amazing thing to get is an iPad! An 8 Gigabyte iPad like the that I got was $500! The one that's being sold for Black Friday is $185! $185, people! When I saw this my eyes almost popped out of my head! I love Black Friday deals! Now if I just knew what Black Friday was...

Ferrari Roller Coaster

When I saw this amazing roller coaster, I said, "Who doesn't love riding in a Ferrari?" Nobody, that's who! And what are the chances that you'll ever get to ride in a Ferrari? Well, your chances just drastically increased because there is a new roller coaster called the "Formula Rossa Roller Coaster," the world's fastest coaster in the brand new Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi!

When I saw this, I said, "Sweet mother of mercy, that's awesome!!!!!!" The coaster, which just opened 9 days ago on Nov. 4, reaches a top speed of nearly 150 mph in less than four seconds! I can't imagine being pinned to the seat going that fast! I'd be poopin' in mah pants! Gaaahhhh!!!

VETERAN'S DAY!

As you know, Veteran's Day was today! A whole day off of school is what I like to think of it as! I did my part in honoring soldiers by playing a whole day of Call of Duty II! As you've probably figured out from the title, it's a war game. I learned a lot about what soldiers go through by playing that game...

Veteran's Day, if you're not very smart, don't know, or couldn't figure it out by what I just said, is a United States holiday celebrated annually honoring military veterans. It takes place November 11th of every year!

And I spent my day playing a video game with soldiers in it... Soldiers! SOLDIERS, PEOPLE! Even if my mom wasn't pleased! At least it was a great reason to play video games all day, don't you think? Well, here's waiting for November 11th of next year!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows! (Part 1!)

OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. OH MY GODDDD! I CAN'T WAIT FOR HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS TO COME OUT! IT OPENS NEXT FRIDAY! FRIDAY! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I'll really miss Harry and I wish the franchise would keep going on and on until he looks like Dumbledore! Heh heh heh! But as we all know, Daniel Radcliffe is leaving Harry Potter FOREVER! FOREVERRRRRR! He will say goodbye next summer when the second half of the two-part Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows comes to the movies. But even though he's now richer than God, he's already taking roles for other movies! He's going to take a role in a movie called, "Woman in Black!" Sounds interesting, but I can't wait for Deathly Hallows Part 1 to open though since it opens next Friday! I'm so excited!!!

Lockdown!

So today I was in school and the principal comes on the intercom. I'm thinking, Yay!!! Good news! Then I hear that we're in an immediate lockdown from a bomb threat coming from Pembrooke Pines! And then I find out that all of Broward County schools are in lockdown. That's over a quarter of a million students, people! A QUARTER OF A MILLION STUDENTS! THE 6TH LARGEST SCHOOL DISTRICT IN THE COUNTRY! SIXTH!

Unfortunately, it wasn't exciting at all. It was the most boring thing I have ever done in school, and I dind't think that was possible because I always think school is boring! LOL! Pretty much, I got stuck in the worst class you could be stuck in, the only class where talking isn't "permitted!" I was stuck in there the whole day. We didn't get to change classes or even go to lunch! I was starving, people! STARVING! Not to mention the fact that today was the only day I didn't bring my phone to school so my parents had no way of calling or texting to find out if I was okay! I despise lockdowns now! -__- And I thought it was going to be such an exciting day!

FCAT

Oooh, you don't even want to know what happened to me today! I was so mad I could have thrown a baby off a parking garage! Exaggeration, of course, don't think of me as a baby killer. But when I was in Reading Class, I figured how close I truly was to not being in that horrible class. I was three... THREE POINTS AWAY FROM BEING A LEVEL THREE WHICH WOULD HAVE BOOSTED ME OUT OF THAT CLASS. If I got one more question right, any type of question, I would NOT be in that class! Everytime I think about that I get mad knowing I shouldn't be in that class. I know I shouldn't either and I know how serious FCAT is now! Take it seriously or end up like me! Frustrated being 3 points away from another class that's probably much more fun!

Wheel of Fortune Amazing Puzzle Solving!

Just skip to 1:21 seconds in to see what I'm talking about!

Cheater! That was the first word that came to mind when I saw this video! There is no way! No way ever that somebody could answer a puzzle that long with one letter! I'd like to say, "Hey I guess she had a... 'GOOD FEELING ABOUT IT!' :)

If I was on this show with that lady and I was an opponent... ooooh, I would have accused her of cheating on the spot and told me to tell her who the nice person was that gave her the answer! Probably her husband works backstage on the show or something... Good thing I wasn't on that show!

Food Clothes?!

Wow, who would have thought that those two things could be combined into one. Food and clothes. Some designer, I guess, and that's exactly what she did.

So far sh'es come up with five, made out of artichokes, bread, pasta, waffles, and meat! Now, this just astonished me when I saw it! What if a hobo runs up to you in the street and just starts eating your clothes until it's gone?! Then you'll be running down the street naked yelling, "A hobo just ate my clothes! Help!" And you'd better watch out if you run into a dog or two. You'll be in danger of being mauled. Especially if it's Lady Gaga's meat dress.

The photographer of the food clothes claims, "Lady Gaga's meat dress may have gotten loads of attention, but she wasn't the first one to come up with the idea." She said this because her "Hunger Pains" photo shoot was done last year. I'm sure she didn't appreciate people thinking she ripped off Lady Gaga when it was the other way around!

High Tech Washing Machines!

Now, I have pretty low tech washing and drying machines. I just have the bare minimum to survive and that's all I need, but these new machines are going all fancy wancy and what not! The Whirlpool Corporation released it's new "top-load Vantage washers..." whatever that means. Those people and their fancy schmancy talks and machines. Anway, these expensive machines are priced at $4,000 for the pair! The most expenisive in it's line, which isn't suprising! The machines are so expensive because they have 33 different settings! They have the usual settings for clothing but also for other items, such as blankets and shower curtains! I have to admit that is pretty convenient. And to top it all off, the settings are made using an LCD touch-screen! The company says it is also introducing other models at lower prices! I have to admit, I'm not much into washing, but I do like high tech gadgets...

Jules Verne

I read about one of the most famous science fiction authors Jules Verne today! In fact I've just realized who wrote the script to Journey to the Center of the Earth! I saw that movie in Reading and thought it was interesting! Another famous book of Jules Verne's that was turned into a movie was Around the World in 80 Days! 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea is yet another book by Jules Verne made into a movie! Movie producers must really like his stories! I know I do!

Anyway Jules Verne was so interesting to me because he made some amazing predictions about the kinds of things he expected to see in the future and all of them had amazing accuracy! Verne predicted: "Motion pictures, wirephotos, color photography, recorded books, air conditioners, computers, synthetic materials, condensed foods, prefabricated mass housing, public health programs, air pollution control and space satellites", and remember, he predicted these all way before we were close to having any of this! That's just amazing! This was back in the 19th century when he predicted this! I look up to Jules Verne as a science fiction writer and I think we need science fiction writers to help give us vision. When I read a great sci-fi story with amazing inventions and contraptions, I find myself thinking, "Wow. I wonder if that will be real some day."

Halloween

Ahh, Halloween. The holiday that kids think of as, "Free candy! Scaring people! Wearing Costumes! Going to Haunted Attractions such as Halloween Horror Nights! Carving Jack-O-Lanterns! And Commiting Pranks!"

My Halloween was very awesome this year! I had a bunch of friends come over and we went trick or treating and then we came back and just hung out! I can't believe that we had school the next day, which was Monday, but we don't have school on Tuesday. I don't see why they couldn't just move Election Day to Monday so kids could have that day off too and my friends and I could have had a better time and hung out longer! Stupid politicians, never thinking about the kids... What a great time I had this Halloween though! My friends didn't leave my house until late though and my mommy was mad! At least I have a pillowcase full of candy! What am I going to do with it you ask? Muhahahaha... let's just say it'll be gone in a week.

Vacation!

Ahh, vacation. A time to be relaxed and loose with no worries on your mind! In fact, I just got back from one! I went to Orlando, Florida, to the theme parks Islands of Adventures and Universal. It was so much fun. I got to see the new Harry Potter land at Islands of Adventure. The park was so much fun and I'm really glad I went. I also enjoyed the new ride at Universal called Rip Ride Rockit!

The thing I enjoyed about this ride so much was that you could listen to the music you wanted to - you got to pick your own song if it was on the list. I picked Paralyzer by Finger Eleven!

After the park I went to a little fair that has the world's largest slingshot and a ride called StarFlyer. The StarFlyer ride was featured on the show The World's Most Extreme Rides! The ride was pretty extreme! It was super-duper fun though my dad didn't like it!

My trip was completely awesome and I want to take another vacation soon!

Doll Spurt!

Girls are ditching dolls at younger ages than ever! They usually ditch them by their seventh birthday now! They're doing this because the dolls don't really reflect the way they look! The dolls either come in baby size or adult size. So now companies like Disney are making dolls designed to look like pre-teens. Not babies or adults.... These dolls can be played with longer and give girls a few more years of play and suprisingly, I actually don't think this is a bad idea!

Trick-or-Treating

So as you can probably can see by now, Halloween is less then a week away. I'm so excited! I've been saying to myself this whole time, "I'm not too old to trick or treat! I'm not too old to trick or treat!" I still don't think I am! Alright, alright, maybe I am fourteen! But there should be no limit! Except for this one town where the people think...

A mayor in Illinois has been getting a ton of complaints. From whom might you ask? From frightened mothers and senior citizens who are NOT happy about these “6-foot-tall kids” running about saying, "TRICK OR TREAT!" Apparently, this stupid mayor's solution was to ban high-school teenagers, or anyone over the age of 12, from trick-or-treating.

To enforce this law, the mayor slaps a $100 fine across your face if you ignore the law... I would be dead if I lived in that town! Crazy people with authority... pshht, what's wrong with them?

Chilean Miners Honored

The thirty-three miners that were rescued after more than two months trapped underground were given a heroes welcome at the national palace Monday. This happened in Chile and it was presented by President Sebastian Pinera. He hugged each of the men just as he did when they came up one by one from the mine.

Many had their photographs taken in front of the Phoenix 2 rescue capsule, which is on display there until it finds itself a permanent home in case it's needed again.

Later the miners wore white jerseys with the Chilean flag for a friendly football match in the National Stadium. They were playing against a team made up of other government officials and rescuers. Two weeks after being rescued, these strong men seemed energetic on the field and showed no ill effects from the incident.

The men were buried some 2,300 feet below the surface in the San Jose mine and the 69 days they spent before the rescue is the longest anyone has been trapped underground and lived! According to reports, they got through some of their toughest times by talking about football. In Chile, football is not just a sport, it's an obsession. They even had a video screen delivered to them when they trapped so they could watch matches. I bet they couldn't wait to get out so they could play again themselves. It's amazing that they even had the energy only a week after being rescued. Good going, guys!

Deadly Shark Waters!

A shark attack in the waters just north of Santa Barbara killed a 19-year-old college student. His named was Lucas and it was a Friday morning. Lucas was bodyboarding with a friend 100 yards from the beach when a shark suddenly pulled him under. Even professionals said such deadly attacks are rare! But these waters are becoming haunted, I guess you can call it, because according to California's Department of Fish and Game, there have been 12 shark attacks since the 1920's!

Lucas Ransom, I know, it's a funny name... ransom, hehe, maybe the shark wanted a ransom and he's still underwater in little shark world doing fine just waiting for people to pay the shark a ransom. Anyway, Lucas was a junior at the University of California; he was majoring in Chemical Engineering. The Sheriff's Department reports that Lucas's friends and bystanders pulled him from the water with a severed leg and he died a short time later. ): I wish the people knew the shark just wanted a ransom...

Postcard delivered 64 Years Late

This postcard was delivered 64 years late! Talk about a crowded mail room! How could a postcard get lost for 64 WHOLE years and then finally be found in mint condition. Where could it have been where it wouldn't have gotten dirty or even dusty for 64 years? The question still hasn't been answered and it's so nerve wracking! I want to know already! Ahhhhhh! The postcard was sent to a young girl who was 19 at the time but is now 83! Amazinly, she was still alive to receive the 64-year-old card! It was a thank you message that was written more then 6 decades ago! That's amazing! If I got 64-year-old mail, I would have peed in my pants! Especially since I'm only 14! That means it would have been sent 50 years before I was born! hehe :)

My Music!

Lately I've been really getting into my music! Whether it be in piano or guitar or the best thing of all: vocals! I sound like an angel if I may say so myself! In piano I'm learning Fur Elise which is very hard! And on guitar I just learned Say It Ain't So on Guitar! I'm pretty proud of myself for learning so much so fast and I plan to keep excelling faster and playing harder songs. It's the only way you can get better! Maybe one day I'll be playing Chopin and Lizst....

30,000 year old bread

Grains have been found on 30,000 year old grinding stones and scientist are suggesting that man from 30,000 years ago may have eaten bread despite the fact that they were supposedly strict carnivores! Are they telling us that cavemen actually figured out how to make bread? Whoa!

The findings say that pre-historic people ground down plant roots, which were similar to potatoes, to make flour, which was later whisked into dough. A reseracher quoted "It's like a flat bread, like a pancake with just water and flour you make a kind of pita and cook it on the hot stone." Wow, it's astonishing what we knew how to do back then!

Visit to Tampa

Yeah, so this weekend I went to Tampa to go visit my brother in college. It was pretty amazing. It was very amazing. IT WAS AWESOMEEEEEE!

We went to Busch Gardens. We got on all the big roller coasters and I had a great time! When I was hanging out with his friends and him they were all so nice and talented. I hope I can visit my brother again in Tampa so we can partayyyy some more. I can't wait to see my brother again and I can't wait to go to Busch Gardens again!

Camel Ownage

I tried really hard but in the end couldn't comprehend what was happening in this picture. Unless I'm mistaken it seems like this camel is doing his best to eat this little boy in one bite. As a retarded parent stood nearby and took a picture. And that foolish sister to the left looks amazed yet pleased at her little brother finally getting eaten. In her mind I can picture her saying, "Finally! Now I don't have to kill him!" At least that's what her facial expression seems to read to me. I wonder what that little boy did to make that camel want to eat his head right off...

BABY PANGOLIN!

Awww, this thing is almost as adorable as me - minus its harsh looking armor!

A pangolin, which I had no idea what it was, is what I like to think of as a scaly anteater. There are eight different species of pangolins! The thing that scares me about these animals are that they have large keratin scales covering their skin and are the only animals that have evolved this way.

These cool animals are found in tropical regions of Asia but mostly Africa. The name pangolin came from the Malay word pengguling that means something that rolls up. They named it that because pangolins spend most of the day sleeping curled into a little ball, just like my dog does! They are nocturnal, in case you couldn't figure that out, and use their excellent smell to find insects! This has been the exploration of a weird animal with your host - Alexander Chiles!
